Well guys our Florida turkey hunt did not go as planned. Sean , Mojo and myself made the 11 hour drive to Yulee Florida for some sunshine state hunting. We drove the whole night only to get there and put on our gear and hunt that first morning, with NO sleep !!! hat ehe rain was pouring down at first light so we had to wait. No gobbles on our first set up. We didn't hear our first gobble till 10:30 am. We worked 5 toms for 5 hours that day, with no luck. The best thing about the first day was watching Mojo and Sean try to catch armidillos by hand, once again no luck. Second day was the same, no luck. We never heard a tom much less saw one. That afternoon we decided to chase the armidilos again and maybe a hog or two. The armidillos where everywhere ! We killed two with our bows. Mojo got with in 15 yard of a massive hog that weighed 300lbs plus. He couldn't get his bow drawed back in time to shoot (sorry Mo). Day three found success. Mojo killed a nice pig that weighed about 40lbs. He will be some great eating. All in all it was a great trip. We shared some fellowship and met some great new friends, thanks Mitch and Lisa! Our season starts here in two weeks so we will be back at it. Can't wait!!!!! :D
